Colorado Brevet Series – 1000km Brevet –  24-26-June-2006

Tips for the Rider

600k Tips – The 1000km route follows the 600k route as far as Kersey.  Please view the tips for the 600km in terms of routing as far as Kersey, and for general brevet information.  Note that the FINISH procedures are different.

Route Changes from 2005 (after Kersey) – Veteran riders please note!

v      Loveland – Johnstown (third loop) – We take Rd. 20 (1st street) through Loveland and then the I-25 frontage road to Hwy. 60 into Johnstown.  This is a somewhat shadier route, with services.

v      Gilcrest checkpoint (third loop) – As in the first loop, we are using Gilcrest for our checkpoint in place of Platteville.

Finish-Line Check in – As in years past, pre-finish check in is at my house in Louisville, where you drop off your card, duly signed and with finishing time.

Make sure that you turn in your brevet card.  If for some reason you need to clarify your result, have lost your card, etc., leave a message on 303-604-1163.

Here is the waiver you sign at ride-registration (based upon LAB and RMCC waiver):
