Our regular weekly ride schedule is starting up this week.  In the early part of the year, the schedule features a gradual progression of increasingly longer and more challenging ride.  Join us from the start of the season and be in great shape when summer rolls around.  Rides until the end of March start at 10:45.

Thanks Ride Starters

A special thanks to our winter show-and-go ride starters:  Dan Shields, Mike Prendergast, Sheridan Garcia, Charlie Henderson, Cary Stewart, Jim Kraychy and Mike Fulton!  After a bunch of rides got canceled early in the winter, things dried up and we got a lot of rides in during January.

Online Event Registration now available

If you are planning Brevets or Challenge Series rides this year, you can now register for them using our online form.  Please note that some rides require pre-registration; others simply request it.  Be sure to consult the pages for the appropriate series for details.

January Newsletter

The January Newsletter is now available online.  Check it out and read about the 2010 ride schedule, Brent Myers' Last Chance ride, a rider profile of Jim Kraychy, and more!

Paris-Brest-Paris and other brevet news

The ACP's Paris-Brest-Paris 2011 brochure is now available!  If you think you might be interesting in participating, please check it out.  Of particular note is that you will receive priority registration based on the longest brevet you do in 2010, so you might want to consider doing our own Last Chance or at least a 600K this year!  Read more about PBP as well as the upcoming Eau de Hell Week on Vancouver Island on the Brevets Blog.

Challenge Series Details Available

The details for the 2010 RMCC Challenge Series events are now available.  Check them out and plan now to participate.  Don't miss your opportunity to dethrone Mark Lowe!

Ride Starters Needed!

The 2010 ride schedule is up, and we are looking for people to sign up to start the early season rides!  Starting a ride is easy, and is the most valuable way you can help out the club.  To find a ride to volunteer for, click through to the schedule to find a ride marked "Ride Starter Needed", and click to see more about starting a ride and who to contact.  Thanks!

On the Brevet Blog

Check out the brevets blog for information on winter riding, signing up for the Cascade 1200, and a reminder to keep your RUSA membership current if you are planning on PBP 2011 or earning a RUSA award this year.
